Our Team

Our team is made up of individuals with a passion for organizing, an eye for detail, and decades of sales experience between us.
Customer service the backbone of our estate sales.

Kimberly Hagan

Owner

I started Compassionate Transition  working with friends who needed assistance with downsizing and liquidating their families’ estates. I had always wanted to start my own business and with more than 30 years of professional sales and an MBA, I was ready to put those to use where they would have a great impact – helping others through difficult life transitions: loss of a loved one, placing a family member in an assisted living facility, divorce, foreclosure, etc. My goal is to help you meet your transition needs with compassion and integrity. Whether downsizing, or completely liquidating assets, I am here to take the stress off of you. There is NO job too big or too small! Contact us for a Free in-home consultation!

Shirlyn Taylor Englisby

Sales lead

After years of working with customers in my downtown Decatur gift shop, Melrose On Ponce, I decided to apply my customer service expertise to the real estate industry. I enjoy helping clients find what they are looking for….whether upsizing, downsizing or relocating, my client’s needs are always my first consideration.

Margaret Lebeck

Operations lead

I was drawn to Compassionate Transition because of Kim’s passion for serving families going through difficult transitions. With a long career in non-profit management, I am committed to helping Compassionate Transition grow in its outreach as a flourishing small business in Metro Atlanta.
